Dr. Peregrino G. Duran is a veteran animal scientist and reproductive biotechnology specialist whose decades of work have helped advance artificial insemination, embryo transfer, MOET, and livestock genetic improvement in the Philippines. As a Founding Adviser of PhilSAR, he continues to share his expertise through research, mentorship, and professional collaboration.

Mr. Arnel T. Corpuz

Mr. Arnel T. Corpuz brings more than 30 years of hands-on experience in the cattle industry in the Philippines and Australia, rising from humble beginnings to managing major feedlot operations and mentoring fellow Filipinos in the field. He is the author of the Philippine Cattle Feeding Handbook: Feeding Cattle the Philippine Way, Inspired by Global Best Practice, which translates decades of practical experience into accessible guidance on cattle nutrition, feedlot management, animal welfare, biosecurity, and sustainable production. Through his work, Mr. Corpuz continues to champion practical knowledge, skills development, and opportunities that strengthen the Philippine livestock industry.

Dr. Nova Grace D. Puod

Dr. Nova Grace D. Puod is an educator and animal scientist from the University of Antique–Hamtic Campus who recently earned her Ph.D. in Animal Science, Cognate in Agronomy, from Visayas State University. Her commitment to research, innovation, and international collaboration was demonstrated at the 2024 University Consortium Summer School at National Taiwan University, where she represented the VSU Graduate School and contributed to a team that received the Best Project Award. With strengthened expertise and a passion for advancing agricultural science, Dr. Puod continues to contribute to higher education, research, and the development of the Philippine agricultural and livestock sectors—reflecting PhilSAR’s commitment to scientific excellence, lifelong learning, and the advancement of animal reproduction.
