GENERAL

When and where will the Joint International Congress 2026 be held?
The Joint International Congress 2026 will be held on December 1–3, 2026 at Royce Hotel & Casino, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, Philippines.
Who can attend JIC 2026?
The Congress is open to researchers, scientists, faculty members, educators, veterinarians, animal health professionals, industry representatives, government and NGO personnel, farmers, livestock raisers, graduate and undergraduate students, and international and local delegates.
Will participants receive a certificate?
Yes. Registered participants who attend the Congress will receive an official Certificate of Participation. Presenters may also receive a Certificate of Presentation.

REGISTRATION

How do I register for the Congress?
Complete the official JIC 2026 registration form, select your appropriate registration category, pay the applicable fee, and submit your proof of payment. Registration confirmation will be issued after payment has been verified.
What registration categories are available?
Categories include local and international delegates, professionals, students, oral and poster presenters, industry or corporate participants, exhibitors, accompanying persons, and virtual participants where applicable.
What is included in the registration fee?
Depending on the registration category, inclusions may cover access to scientific sessions and plenary lectures, Congress materials, Certificate of Participation, poster and exhibition areas, Congress kit and souvenirs subject to availability, and selected social and networking activities.
Can students avail of discounted registration rates?
Yes. Student registration rates are available. Participants registering as students must provide a valid student identification card or proof of enrollment.
Can I register on-site?
On-site registration may be available subject to slot availability. Advance registration is strongly encouraged to secure participation and Congress materials.
When will my registration be confirmed?
Registration confirmation will be sent after the Organizing Committee verifies your payment.
Can I transfer my registration to another person?
Yes. Registration substitution may be permitted under the Congress substitution policy. Written requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the Congress.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to secretariat@philsar.org and will be handled according to the Congress Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Who pays bank transfer and transaction charges?
Bank transfer charges, remittance fees, and other transaction costs are borne by the participant.

ABSTRACTS

What is the deadline for abstract submission?
The abstract submission deadline is September 15, 2026.
Who may submit an abstract?
Researchers, practitioners, educators, students, and professionals are invited to submit abstracts for presentation at JIC 2026.
What types of presentations are available?
Authors may submit work for:
  • Oral Presentation
  • Poster Presentation
  • Poster Pitching Competition, where applicable
What is the maximum abstract length?
Abstracts must not exceed 300 words, excluding the title, author names, and institutional affiliations.
What language should I use?
Abstracts must be submitted in English.
How many keywords should I include?
Include 3–5 keywords below the abstract.
Can I submit my abstract by email?
Yes. Abstracts may be submitted through the official online submission portal or emailed to philsar.org@gmail.com.
How will abstracts be evaluated?
Abstracts will undergo peer review by the Scientific Committee and will be evaluated based on scientific merit, originality, relevance to the Congress theme, clarity of presentation, and potential impact.
How will I know if my abstract has been accepted?
The Scientific Committee will review all submitted abstracts. Notification of acceptance will be sent to the corresponding author by email.
FOR PRESENTERS

PRESENTATIONS

How long is the Poster Pitch presentation?
Each selected participant is allotted 5 minutes total: 3 minutes for the research pitch and 2 minutes for questions and answers.
Can I use slides during a Poster Pitch?
Presenters may use a limited number of slides. The working guidelines recommend approximately 3–5 slides or a single poster slide, subject to final Organizing Committee instructions.
Must an author be present during the poster session?
Yes. At least one author must be present during the scheduled poster viewing and discussion period and should be available to answer questions from delegates and judges.
Are there awards for presenters?
Congress recognition may include awards such as Best Oral Presentation, Best Poster Presentation, Best Poster Pitch, and other outstanding research distinctions.

Do international participants need a Philippine visa?
Visa requirements depend on nationality. International participants should verify the requirements applicable to them through the appropriate Philippine Embassy or Consulate well before travel.
Can the Congress provide an invitation letter for my visa application?
Yes. Participants requiring supporting documents may request a Letter of Invitation, Letter of Acceptance for presenters, or Registration Confirmation Letter from the Congress Secretariat. Issuance of these documents does not guarantee visa approval.
